St. John Neumann feast-day mailing

Dear benefactors of the Shrine:

We pray in hope that your time with family and friends this Christmas season brings you the ioy of Christ Our Savior and many fruitful opportunities to share your love and compassion with others!

The Shrine was blessed with a fulfilling and peaceful year in 2018. Our construction to bring the new St. John Neumann Hall to completion moved quickly, as we will soon be providing the expanded experience that was promised for our visitors. In gratitude, we believe that our new gift shop, café with vending, and media center will be open by St. John Neumann’s feast day, January 5. Because of the project depth of the museum fabrication, this spectacular final quadrant will be open closer to Easter 2019. The anticipation surrounding the creation of the new museum to uniquely display our saint’s personal relics and artifacts is continuously fueling much excitement at the Shrine—a good reason to come visit us in 2019!

We invite you to celebrate the 2019 feast day with us
Receptions will be held in the Atrium after both Masses

  • Mass at 12:15 p.m. Saturday, January 5, in the upper church
  • Mass at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, January 6, in the upper church

In thanksgiving for your prayerful support and donations, we are pleased to tell you that 2018 was a rewarding year with many pilgrim visits, a number of diocesan events, 40 hours devotion, and heartwarming attendance at our daily Masses and confessions.

All donations help us to continue our Shrine ministry to promote St. John Neumann to those who need to know him. Your support of our mailings for Shrine donations, Guild memberships, candle lighting, our capital campaign, and daily collections all show the sacrifices you are making on our behalf. We thank you for your continued generosity!

In closing, we remind you that our 2018 Annual Appeal remains open until the end of the year. This is another opportunity to assist us in supporting our ever-expanding Shrine ministry!

In Christ the Redeemer,

Father Raymond Collins, C.Ss.R.
Director
