The Redemptorists and Shrine Staff welcome you to our website!  We hope our site will familiarize you with our Shrine Ministry in its 161st year, as of 2021, and with our dearly beloved St. John Neumann, the 1st male Saint of the USA, who continues to inspire our work each day! St. John Neumann was a tireless preacher of the Gospel to the most abandoned, especially the poor. At his Shrine we strive to imitate his example, welcoming all who come to visit his tomb and offering pilgrims a respite within the busy streets of the city for prayer, worship, reconciliation, and renewal.
